Amazing hotel in a beautiful location. We chose an apartment type room and it didn't disappoint - we had 2 bedrooms + a large living room and a balcony with an amazing view. Hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. I really enjoyed my massage and a facial. We got there from Klagenfurt using a shuttle transfer recommended by the hotel.
On site they have farm animans (and pony rides), little tractors for kids to play with, sledges to borrow, a ski school for toddlers, spa area for children and adults including a fun kids sauna with a tv =), soft play, daily bus transfer to the local ski slope.
Breakfast was nice, lunch also, but the star of the show was the dinner. I felt like we were in a restaurant every night. Tea, coffee and other drinks are available through out the day. Also in your room you will have a kids step and a toilet insert, so no need to bring that with you. Do bring pool sliders though as the slippers you will get are very very slippery in the pool area.
There's an all day childcare with its own programme and lunch + snacks. The best thing was that all nannies spoke English really well so our little one didn't feel excluded. Our son was really looking forward to the kids club.
The area around the hotel is great to explore. If you go down from the car park you with find a little wooden house with a witch wood cut-out and slightly futher down - a fishing lodge. There are more of these suspicious looking cut-out characters scattered around the trail, like a cross-eyed Cinderalla and a toothless dwarf, we had a good laugh finding them.
In the bar you can get some nice cocktails as well as alcohol free kids coctails. I'm pregnant so had a couple and they were delicious.
We left quite early and were given a very generous lunch to take with us (lots of sandwiches for just 3 of us, fruit, drinks, sweet snacks).
Overall we really recommend this hotel! =)
We had a wonderful 3 day vacation here. Everything is neat and clean, food is amazing, service is really good. Everyone makes an effort so that you can feel relaxed and truly enjoy your stay. Surrounding nature is beautiful. Our kid really loved Ramsi and we are definitely coming back!
Just a perfect family hotel! Good food, plenty of playgrounds outdoors, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, good sauna facilities, plenty of fun for kids and parents!
This is an amazing Kids' hotel. Everything you could wish for is in place, the location is amazing and what's most important every team member of Ramsi really cares and makes his best to give you the utmost.
The room was great the facilities are very good, the food was nice and the seevice was friendly. Nothing really to complain about . Good Spa area and they have a really good area to leave your kid with supervision with very friendly staff. All in all very good
The rooms were clean and everyone we needed was in place when we got there. Including a crib, toddler bed rail, and extra bed set up. They had everything they could in English for us, which was much appreciated. The weather was a bit warm and the rooms were uncomfortable, since there is no air conditioning. However, the staff cleaned up a fan for us and that made evenings much nicer. The parent room did not have a bug screen, which was sorely missed, as the warm weather required opening the windows and there were flies and spiders in abundance. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. Evening dinner was wonderful. And we all looked forward to midday snack. Though lunch was a bit of a disappointment. Our server during evening meal was excellent and we looked forward to seeing her each evening. The facilities for children were amazing. Our 3 year old loved the various playgrounds, large sand pit, farm animals, indoor play area, and pools, especially the indoor children's pool. They catered incredibly well to children of all ages. The on-site walking trails in the woods by the creek were a nice touch. The spa facilities that were included with the stay seemed very underutilized and were incredible. Definitely a hidden gem. The town and area were also nice, we enjoyed the Millennium Express and hiking trails at the top. There is an Aqua Trail that is geared very much towards children, with play areas ever so often along the way. Very cool.
We visited the property with our 2 1/2 years old child and we weren't expecting what we would get. The hotel is one of the friendliest hotels that we have visited so far. The stuff is really nice, the food is delicious, they have activities for the kids during the whole day, Ramsi visit them every day in the front of the hotel the playground is really cute and they took our hearts with all the animals that they have.
The other thing is theirs little spa with the pool which is brand new and the water is really warm. If you love sauna like we do they have 3 of them. You just need to tell them to turn them on half an hour before. It great idea to save some electricity since we've been the only ones who used saunas.
We'll definitely visit Ramsi Hotel again.
The only bad thing are beds. They are old and they need a replacement.
Overall, 4 1/2 👍
Great hotel for families with children - fabulous staff (from restaurant, housekeeping, reception/concierge to kid's entertainment). Both our kids (3 and 6) took skiing lessons, the younger in front of the hotel, the other at the nearby Nassfeld skiing resort, and everything worked out really nicely. We will come back for sure.
